MT. MORRIS, NY - A Mass of Christian Burial for Raymond C. Cook, 55, a resident of Mt. Morris and the North Country, will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Brasher Falls, NY with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Brasher following the services. Mr. Cook embarked on his final journey, passing away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with family at his side, leaving behind a profound legacy of love that will forever inspire and uplift those who knew him. Born in Rochester, NY on May 4, 1970 to the late Kenneth W. and Marsha Wells Cook, Raymond Graduated from High School. Raymond leaves behind a legacy of love through his wife Lyndsey Wilcox Cook and seven children, Nicole Schutt and Rae Charlene Cook, Tupper Lake, NY; Alex Dumbleton, Genesee County, NY; Breeann Wilcox, Batavia, NY; Skarlet Tellier Wilcox, Batavia, NY; Maverick Cook, Batavia, NY; Dakota Cook, Batavia, NY. Raymond also leaves behind his companion of seven years Sue Henry and his six beloved grandchildren as well as his loving brothers and sisters, Melody Sweet, Ken and Jean Cook Jr., Jackie and Alan Cook, Rose and Frank Jarvis, Sue Mitchell, Samantha and James Michaud and Anthony and Debbie Cook. Raymond was pre-deceased by siblings Sister Mary McQuoid and brother John Cook. Raymond worked for Local 3 Bricklayers Union and in his spare time, enjoyed the outdoors and playing his guitar.
