Scott M. Aldous

COLTON - A Celebration of Life gathering for Scott M. Aldous, 59, a resident of 12 Riverside Drive, Colton, will be held at the Colton Amvets on Saturday, November 1, 2025 starting at 1 p.m. All friends, family and loved ones are welcome to join the family to share memories, laughter, and love in honor of Scott. Mr. Aldous passed away Thursday evening, October 23, 2025, after his 2-year battle of Esophageal Cancer, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Scott is survived by his wife of 8 years but companion for 30, Kimberly, Colton; his mother, Sue and Robert Gerrish, Edgewater, Florida, his step-mother, Sandra Aldous, Pierrepont, his only daughter Andrea and Alex Bonno, Colton; three step-children, Corey and Andi-Lynne Kulhanek, Colton; Jerry and Jessica Kulhanek, Colton; Kathaleen Kulhanek, Missouri; his six wonderful grandchildren; and his three siblings, Timothy Aldous, Canton; Aaron and Georgina Aldous, Lisbon and Charmayne and Paul Jett, Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews. Scott was pre-deceased by his father Robert and a brother Robert "Bobby" Aldous.
Born in Potsdam, NY on November 25, 1965 to Robert "Bob or Bugsy" and Sue Robertson Aldous, Scott graduated from Canton Central High School and moved to Texas where he was an ironworker for several years. He moved back to the North Country and married Kimberly Anne Dusi on July 8, 2017. Scott was a self-employed carpenter locally for many years working for Fisher Builders and Bonno Builders as well as more recently working at Ernie's Car wash in Potsdam and Canton. In his free time, Scott enjoyed watching sports, the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends BBQing and socializing.
