Joan Lynn Reynolds, 74, of Sherwood, Oregon passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 in Missoula, Montana.
Joan was a resident of Sherwood, Oregon, for nearly 50 years. She was involved in her community. She was an integral part, and board member, of the Sherwood Historical Society for a good 36 years. You could find her serving wine at Music on the Green or dressed up to host Pioneer Days for school-aged children.
Joan raised two wonderful daughters, Stephanie and Coral. Her girls excelled in Sherwood sports and school. She was proud of the families they created and their successes in life.
Joan loved her three grandchildren: Jeffrey and Remi, the children of Coral and Jeff Staton, and Brooklyn, daughter of Stephanie Reynolds. She was very involved and supportive in their lives. She was happiest when all of her grandchildren and family were near her. She was also a wonderful great aunt to Debstin and Arlie, children of Brian and Jamie Gusman, who were like grandchildren to her.
Joan and Steve married on March 9, 1984, at the City Hall in Portland, Oregon. As a wife, mother, and grandma, she played the role of athletic coach, home nurse, psychologist, babysitter, tour guide, and yogi. She was the boss.
