Joan K. Rogers

Joan K. Rogers (nee: Eichler) passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025 at her Bayonne residence. She was born in Jersey City to the late Carrie (nee: Bauer) and John Eichler and was a Bayonne resident for over 70 years. She was a bookkeeper at Lightolier prior to retirement.
A devoted parishioner of Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, she was a Past President and Treasurer of the Rosary Society, a member of the Centurians and a member of the choir.
She loved taking bus trips with her friends.
Mrs. Rogers was predeceased by her late husband, Donald Rogers. She is survived by her loving son, Donald Rogers, and his wife, Rose; her cherished daughters, Eloise Colleen Stringer, Carol Dewan, and her husband, George, Denise Rogers Gerbehy, and her husband, Rick, and Patricia Wisely; her 11 adoring grandchildren; and 16 loving great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her dear brothers, Charles and Raymond Eichler; and her loving son-in-law, James Wisely.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday, October 30, 2025. A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
