Joan Stroik was born in Pennsylvania to her parents John and Jennie
Starsmore. She had an older sister Doris Brugger. Living most of her life
in the same house on Twist Dr in PA, where she raised her daughter
Linda Watkins and spent many decades with her husband Edward
Stroik. After his passing she moved to Florida to spend the rest of her
years with her daughter Linda, her grandson Brian, granddaughter in
law Danielle, and 2 great grandkids Madison and Dylan.
She also leaves behind her nieces Jeanne McCullough and Barbara
Crouthamel, as well as her dear friend Kim Smith and her family.
Joan lived a full life, spending time boating, shooting in shot gun
tournaments, gambling, cruising, going on walks, and enjoying as much
coffee, crab and lobster as she could get her hands on!
Over her 97 years she touched many lives and many friends, she was a
lover of animals, especially her cat Ava and Linda's dog Elle.
On my last visit with her she asked me "Don't forget me"
