Joan Vitale Obituary
Joan was born in Washington Court House, Ohio on May 31, 1939, daughter of Harry Jacobs and Gladys Acton. She graduated from Washington High School in Washington Court House, Ohio in 1957, where she was a proud member of the National Honor Society. Joan married Peter J. Vitale on October 6, 1958, in Richmond, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening and most importantly, taking care of her family and loved ones. Joan will be dearly missed.
Surviving relatives include her sons, Tony (Pamela) Vitale, Mike Vitale, Tim (Christine) Vitale and Steve (Gail) Vitale; grandchildren, John and Alyssa Vitale, Megan (Shawn) Pruitt, Ashley (Mike) Fernando, Jenna (Kyle) Trent, Adam, Bryan, Daniel, and Drew Vitale; great-grandchildren, Jordan Ramirez, Westin Eccles, Bohdi Pruitt, Kaymia and Malaya Fernando; special friends, Dick and Connie Podeszwa and Chuck and Jan Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews. Joan is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Peter J Vitale.
A private family service will be held. Final resting place will be with her husband in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
