Joan Ellen Wilson, a beloved homemaker and cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida. Born on August 9, 1942, in Maryland, Joan led a life that exemplified warmth, love, and dedication to her family.
In 1962, she married her husband, Jack Marvin Wilson, and together they nurtured a loving household that became the heart of their family. Joan was admired for her unwavering support and strength, often described by those who knew her as a loving mother and grandmother.
Joan's passions extended beyond her family; she found immense joy in cooking, often gathering family and friends around the table to share delicious meals and create lasting memories. Her nurturing spirit and delicious dishes will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of enjoying her hospitality.
Joan is survived by her husband, Jack, her sons, Jack Wayne Wilson and his wife Michelle, and Jeffery Scott Wilson, along with her three beloved grandchildren; and her siblings Diann Deckman and her husband Lloyd, Carolyn Barber, Cathy Rutherford and her husband David, and Larry Crouse and his wife Patricia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Pauline Crouse, and her siblings Janet Crouse and Ray Crouse.
Joan Ellen Wilson's life was marked by love, laughter, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her loving nature and the wonderful moments she created for her family and friends.
