I n Loving Memory of a Life Well Lived
Born March 27, 1931, at the remarkable age of "nearly" 95, Joan (Oleskiewicz) Zeppo passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 8, 2026, closing a long and beautiful chapter defined by faith, family, hard work, and unwavering grace. A woman of classic style, quiet strength, and steadfast integrity, she lived each day with purpose and a deep devotion to God.
Born with a tenacious spirit, she spent her life building something meaningful-most notably the successful local furniture business she helped create alongside her beloved husband, Joseph "Joe" Zeppo, and their sons. What began as a family dream grew into a thriving, still family-owned business, shaped in no small part by her dedication and work ethic. She continued working there until the age of 91, a testament to her energy, passion, and commitment.
Her marriage to Joe was the heart of her world. Together for 75 years, their bond was one of enduring love and partnership. Some of her most cherished memories were of dancing with him-moments filled with joy, laughter, and the kind of connection that lasts a lifetime. His passing two years ago left a space no one else could fill, and now they are reunited in eternal peace.
In her earlier years, she spent what little free time she had golfing and loved gardening. She lived with intention, always mindful of caring for her body and spirit. A member of Abundant Life Church, her Christian faith guided her, grounding her life in gratitude, humility, and compassion.
Above all, she treasured her family. She poured love into every generation, offering wisdom, encouragement, and a steady presence that will be deeply missed. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled-faith, perseverance, kindness, and the belief that family is life's greatest blessing.
Preceding her in death are her husband of 75 years, Joseph Zeppo; parents, Frank Oleskiewicz and Antoinette Belniak Oleskiewicz; eight brothers; and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Philip (Sharyn) Zeppo of Concord, OH, Sandi (George) Yezbak of Mocksville, NC, and David (Tina) Zeppo of
Uniontown, PA; grandchildren, Nicole Zeppo, Tania (Michael) Bertolone, and Tania Wargo; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Rice, EJ Barbosa, Zach Zeppo, and Giada Bertolone. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Leonard Oleskiewicz, and is lovingly remembered by many special nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind a family who adored her, a community who respected her, and a lifetime of memories that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
May she rest in God's eternal light, reunited with Joe, dancing once again.
