Joanie "Hat" Hamilton, of Canoga Park, CA, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at the age of 84. Devoted mother of Brett Trenier, Darren Trenier and Carree Trenier; loving grandmother of Jayde Nichols, Taaron (Jordan Raymond) Nichols, Joshua Neal, Jordan Trenier, Briean Trenier, Brett Landon Trenier and Jarah Trenier; treasured great-grandmother of Kashton Nichols and Jacob Trenier; dear sister of the late Joyce Dumas, Yvonne Finley, the late Ruby Hamilton and Tyrone Haymond; beloved Naunee, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to all.
Joanie “Hat” never met a stranger. She will always be remembered for her hats. Lovingly known to her grandchildren as Naunee, they were her pride and joy.
Joanie “Hat” was a jack of all trades and master of all! She was an executive director in sales most of her life, and could sell ice to Eskimos. Joanie “Hat” was a “class act” and so much more, she was a beautiful, dynamic business woman who drew people in with her spirit and personality.
Joanie “Hat” was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
