Obituary for JoAnn Hendrix Beasley

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Hendrix Beasley, 89, of Statesboro, GA. A vibrant soul, JoAnn was known for her infectious personality and impeccable sense of style. She loved nothing more than spending time at the beach, basking in the sun. With a zest for both fashion and fun, she was always ready with a witty remark and a stylish outfit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reggie Beasley; her parents, Robert and Florrie Hendrix; her sister, Carrie Bell Hendrix (Carl); and her brother, Robert Hendrix.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Chantel and Jack Webb; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Katie Webb Rich and Josh Rich. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Cecil Kennedy; her brothers, Robert Delmar Hendrix Jr., and Archie Hendrix (Judy); and her brother-in-law, George Walters. She leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The family extends special thanks to the care team at The Lodge at Bethany-including the dining staff, administration, and every employee-for providing a loving and compassionate home. A very special thanks to her Ogeechee Area Hospice nurse, Kellie, whose kind care helped JoAnn maintain both her independence and dignity.

Visitation will be held Saturday at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at http://www.joineranderson.com.
