JoAnn M. Callahan

JoAnn M. Callahan, age 83, of Adrian, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her home in Adrian. She was born September 17, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio to Henry W. and Bernice P. (Furman) Sieving. JoAnn worked as an Insurance Office Assistant at the House of Insurance in Toledo, Ohio, until her retirement. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. JoAnn enjoyed reading and sewing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by five daughters, Tina (Dean) Gollnick of Casper, Wy, Brenda Callahan of Adrian, Anita (Don) Thomas of Swanton, OH, Janet (Don) Harrison of Adrian, and Sharon (Joshua) Ketola of Adrian; 28 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Daniel Sieving, one grandson, Cory Tremble and one great granddaughter, Kira Thomas. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Cremation will follow. A private burial will take place at Lake Township Cemetery in Wood County, Ohio at a later date. You may send condolences to the family at www.marryfh.com.
