JoAnn Canady Obituary
JoAnn Canady, age 82, of Russellville, died Friday, March 13, 2026, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was born September 6, 1943, in El Dorado, to C. D. and Mildred Longing.
She was a member of London First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Canady; her sister, Kathy Longing; and her brother-in-law, Don Havens.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Susan Canady; two brothers and sister-in-law, Maxie and Donnie Longing, and Ernie and Vicki Longing; a sister, Kay Havens; and two grandchildren, Lea and Jake Canady; along with her dear nieces and nephews, and numerous close friends.
A family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date with arrangements under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendship Community Care, 1200 S Elmira Ave., Russellville, AR 72802.
