Joann A. Van Dyken, age 88, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 20, 2023.
She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on September 27, 1935.
Joann is survived by her children, Fred (Judy) Van Dyken, Jr., Tim (Cindy) Van Dyken and Karen (Ray) Chesbro; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and her special and very dear friends, June Van Dyken, Faye Van Dyken, Sue Zeagler, Tom Van Dyken, Barb Van Dyken and Christine Shanahan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Van Dyken, Sr..
Funeral service for Joann will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Blythefield Christian Reformed Church, 6350 Kutshill Dr. NE, Rockford, MI 49341.
Joann's family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of services.
Interment will take place at the Plainfield Township Cemetery.
Joann's family would like to thank Vista Springs Northview for their ongoing care, support and friendships over the past three years.
In lieu of flowers, it was Joann's request for memorial contributions be directed to the Blythefield Christian Reformed Church or Spectrum Hospice, 750 Fuller Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
