Joann Gessner Obituary
She is survived by her children Donna Mease, Tony (Sharon) Hinkle, Rex (Crystal) Hinkle, Lori (Shannon) Jorah, and Gilbert Cooter. She has several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her sister Juanita Hartman.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Wanda Starnes, lates husbands Don Cooter, Max Hinkle, Jimmy Collins, Art Gessner, her daughter Barbara Lawson, her grandchildren Joshua Mease, Stephanie Cooter, Cecil Cooter, her great grandchildren Kelan Travis, and her sisters Brenda Tino, Ruth Lawson, Roxy Starnes, brothers Johnny Starnes, Robert Starnes, Cletus Starnes, and Uley Starnes.
The family will have visitation Friday from 4-7 at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 am in the funeral home chapel with internment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Codey Lawson, Jeramiah Lawson, Derek Willett, Jeremy Clark, Jeff Mease, Darrell Sizemore, Tim Cobble, and Shannon Jorah. Danny Ricker will be officiating.
