JoAnn Ruby Holmin, 81, of Ironton, MN, passed away on March 5, 2023. Funeral services will take place at 11 AM on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. A visitation will take place one hour prior to services.
JoAnn was born on June 17, 1941, to Russell and Wilma (Manson) Essig in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from High School and worked for many years as a wallpaper hanger in Las Vegas, NV. She was married to Robert Holmin Sr on April 24, 1976. JoAnn enjoyed going to auctions, fishing, gardening, and crafting with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Robert; nine children Jeff Kelsay, Jerry Kelsay, Bonnie Cumming, Rick Holmin, Robert Holmin Jr, Carrie Holmin, Daniel Holmin, Shane Holmin, and Crystal Holmin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and five siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, I brother Walt, and brother-in-law Brad Ray.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
