JoAnn was born on March 19, 1941 in Marshfield to Sylvester and Barbara (Pink) Hinker. She was raised in Greenwood and received her education at St. Mary's and Greenwood High School. She was united in marriage to Lester Kaiser on July 27, 1963. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 2013.
While raising five boys and working she helped start the little league program at the Rozellville ball park, coached the girls and boys in the softball program and played and managed Charlie's Angels softball team. The team went to many tournaments in the area. She loved bowling at EML and tended bar at the Rozellville dance hall for eleven years. She was also an avid golfer and fisherman.
She is survived by five sons; Jeff, children Nicholas and Melissa; Dan (Diane), children Brad (Alysha) and Jessica; Todd (Shari), children Kelsey and Lindsey (Cameron); Craig (Sherri), children Kyle, Emalie (Dylan) and great grandchild Ellsie, and Mitchell; Eric (Nicole), children Dylan and great grandchild Jaxon, Kierra (Paul) and great grandchildren Aubree and Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, daughter-in-law Christine, nine brothers Jerry, Gene, Ron, Jim, Fran, Larry, Alan, Robert, and Bill, and sister-in-law Sharon.
God quickly called my name before I could say goodbye.
I left with precious memories of the time I had with you, and each memory I hope brings a smile, and sometimes a tear or two.
Although the chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls one by one the chain will link again.
My love is still your guide. I will always be at your side.

Hello Kaiser boys......I am Mary Kirsch's older sister, Diane. Your Mom was such a spitfire whose spirit will live on in all of our great memories of being with her. When I lived in Marshfield several years ago, Mary and I would bring our 86-year-old Mom, Rita, to your folks house in Marshfield for card playing. My Mom loved it!!!!!!!!!! She was fond of both your folks, as I was. JoAnn golfed with my son Chad, Mary and I in the Leroy Butler Breast Cancer Foundation tourney in Marshfield in honor of my sister, Annette, about 2015. Always a good person to be around, she had us laughing often. We also enjoyed meeting her at Sceeter and Otis for fish fry. I'm sure Mary will make the funeral but I live in Mpls now and have a busy week next week. Thinking of all of you...........she adored you boys.
