JoAnn Morris Obituary
Mrs. JoAnn Morris, age 82 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Morris will be conducted on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 2PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Porterfield, and Bro. Lynn Tharpe officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
JoAnn was born September 2, 1940, in Tatumville, TN; the daughter of the late B.F. & Irene (Weaver) Leach. She was an LPN at The Doctor’s Clinic in Trenton, and member of Dyer First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by husband, Roy Morris; two children, Greg Morris, Anita Jones; grandchildren, William Clayton Morris, Taylor Jones, John Michael Morris, Nicky Lynn Jones; great-grandchildren, Teagan Ann Morris, AJ Stroud, Gunnar Stroud, Evelyn Frances Morris, and Taylor Luke Jones; and siblings, Sue Little of Obion, Martha & David Jackson of Milan, Richard & Marilyn Leach of Country Club Hills, IL, Gary & Cindy Leach of Dyer, and Gerald Leach of Dyer. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jensen Jones; and siblings, Thomas Lynn Leach of Lake City, FL, and Barry Dale Leach of Dyer.
The family will receive friends from 5:30PM – 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. JoAnn Morris.
