Mr. Kenneth Harold "Pete" McCaslin Sr., age 93, of Dyer, Tennessee, opened his eyes and met his Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 14, 2026, with his loving family around him. Celebration services for Mr. McCaslin will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Dyer First Assembly of God Church at 2PM with Bro. Mark Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Dyer. Visitation will be held at the Dyer First Assembly of God Church, 184 Poplar Grove Road, Dyer, TN, 38330, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 5PM-8PM, and Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 11AM until service time.
Pete was born on May 6, 1932, to late John Henry and Beulah Brown McCaslin. He was a retired farmer and land owner, along with being a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Pete was a member of the Dyer First Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed living life with all its wonder and loving his family along with serving God. Pete loved nature and the outdoors, sunrises, planting and harvesting, and sunsets at the close of day, and all the glory God gave us to enjoy.
Mr. Kenneth Harold "Pete" McCaslin Sr. is survived by his children, Harolyn Quillen, Regina Cook, Sherry Kissinger, Kerry Sullivan, Shelia Williams, Kenny McCaslin, Russell Bell; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and sister, Henrietta Finch. Mr. McCaslin was preceded in death by his wives, Doris Ann "Dottie" McCaslin, and Margaret Bell McCaslin; his daughters, Charlotte Richards, and Allyson Stevens; his parents; brother, Wade McCaslin; sisters Marcella Freeman; two grandchildren, Wesley Butler, and Bret Jowers; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Patton, and "Little Pete" McCaslin.
