JoAnn G. (Lee) Otto was born May 28, 1936, and went to meet the Lord on August 30, 2025, at the age of 89.

She is survived by her loving children, Pam (Doug) Gane, Sheryl Flug, Brenda Harrison (Ed Biggerstaff), Darral (Pamela) Otto, Brian (Julie) Otto, and Mark (Patti Paulson) Otto. JoAnn was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many, including Ryan; Trista (Zack Peterson) with children Korra and Sebastian; Amanda Windsor with children Brett Holtzman and Christian Windsor; Brandon (Erin Flug-Geissler) with children Elizabeth and Brianna; Megan Flug with child Demetrius; Caitlyn Flug (Christopher McCelland) with children Alayna, Elliott, and Finnley; Gabrielle, Keeli, and Ethan; Derrick (Lacey) Sand with children Quinn, Colette, and Kaylie; Dylan (Becca) with children Luella, Elsie, Sully, and 1 on the way; and Drew. Her love and legacy also continue through numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends,

JoAnn was known for her remarkable knitting and crocheting, talents she lovingly shared through her church and community. She created countless hats and scarves for the Prison Ministries, Mitten Tree, and many others in need. She also designed patterns for afghans, sweaters, and Barbie doll clothes-several of which were published in craft magazines.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Neighbors and St. Croix County Hospice for the compassionate care JoAnn received. She was also deeply grateful for pastors and family at Alliance Church, who enriched her faith journey.

Affectionately known as "Grammajo," JoAnn passed down her love of knitting and crocheting to her daughters and granddaughters. She also had a beautiful singing voice and a deep love for music.

In honoring her wishes, JoAnn has requested no flowers, visitation or formal funeral service. She will be cremated and laid to rest next to her daddy, Lewis Oscar Lee, in Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax, at a later date.
