Joann Page Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Goldsboro on Dec. 14, 2025.
Joann Hamlin Page, 83, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her home. Joann was born in Macon, Georgia on May 3, 1942 to the late Henry Hubert Hamlin and Daisy Belle Branch Hamlin.
Joann dedicated many years of service to Wayne County Public Schools, where she worked in the cafeteria and was known for her warm smile and kind spirit. She later continued her lifelong commitment to caring for others through her work at Cherry Hospital, where she served compassionately as a caregiver.
A talented cook, Joann set the precedent for family traditions that have been lovingly carried on by her granddaughters and great-granddaughters. She was a woman of many gifts, finding joy in crafts of all kinds-sewing, quilting, embroidering, crocheting, and even woodwork. Her handmade creations were treasured expressions of love for those closest to her.
Family was the heart of Joann's life. She especially enjoyed surf fishing at the beach with her loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Fond recollections also include trips to her hometown of Macon, Georgia, to visit beloved family members-her sister, Virginia "Bebe" Talcott, and niece, Diann Reeves-and their spouses, H.A. and Eddie (Tward). Many memorable fishing trips were shared with them, forming lifelong family bonds.
All services for Joann will be held privately for the family.
Joann is survived by her daughters, Sherry Page Lenos, Katrina Page Holloway and husband, Dan, and Pamela Walker and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Heather Joann Gates, Virginia Jan Shepard (Eric), Patricia Shawn Lenos, William Dane Holloway (Sarah), and Austin Blake Napolitano (Chris); great-grandchildren, Andrew Stagner (LaNiya), Eric Shepard, Jr., Danni Jo Napolitano, Jude Parker Napolitano, Noah Drew Napolitano, and Maeve Wilder Holloway; and her first and only great-great-grandchild, LaVina Monet Stagner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Clarence Page; great-granddaughter, Sadie; and her siblings, including her sister, Virginia "Bebe" Talcott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to EB Research Partnership, 244 Madison Avenue, Suite 104, New York, NY 10016.
