JoAnn Pyle, 76, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday January 1, 2026 at her home in Myrtle Beach. South Carolina. She was born on July 1, 1949 in Buffalo, New York to the late William & Cecila Parker Resetarits.
During her working years and while in the north, JoAnn was a caring and skilled labor and delivery nurse for many years. In her personal life, JoAnn took pride in being the best mom she could be! She worked tirelessly to ensure her family was well taken care of. Following her well-deserved retirement, she relocated to M yrtle Beach. JoAnn will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her quick wit, bright smile and the love she had for her family.
Left to cherish JoAnn's memory are her adoring husband, Mr. Robert "Bob" Pyle of Myrtle Beach; their daughters, Nicole Shelton of Myrtle Beach & Kristin Fickett and her husband, Shawn of Maryville, TN; her adoring grandchildren, Zachary Shelton, Paige Shelton, Zelotus Fickett & Atz Fickett; brother, David Resetarits and wife, Norma of Buffalo, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Joann'e life was held at Burroughs Funeral Home, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Donations in JoAnn's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org

Joann and I spent our teen years as next door neighbors in West Seneca, NY. Her mom and mine were very good friends also. From the time I was 13 until I was married Jo snd I spent countless hours together. Sadly after we both married we lost touch, but I did occasionally see her mom. I was greatly saddened by her passing and will fondly remember all the years that I got to spend with he´d, they were fun. My heartfelt sympathy to her brother David and her family.

Bud n I knew JoAnne through the moose lodge. She always had kind thoughts of everyone and a great smile. You will be missed but never forgotten. Sorry for your loss Bob., Bud and Jackie Patton.
