Joann Stephenson, age 71 of Columbus, OH, passed away on April 8, 2025. She was born on May 4, 1953 in Beavercreek, KY. She was proceeded in death by: Husband: Charles Everett Stephenson, Child: Ted Juble Tetlow, Jr., Grandchild: Amber Nikole Tetlow, Great Gandchild: Jid Bouaphakeo, Parents: Carmel & Lovel Orsbone, Siblings: Palestine Moore, Irene Diamond, Estel Lee Orsbone, Allen Dee Orsbone, Tina Marie Holt
Joann will be missed by: Children: Jody Ann McGinnis (Michael), Connie Jo Salter (Trunell), Grandchildren: Brittany Gibbs (Justus), Cayleigh Bouaphakeo (Ricky), Amanda McGinnis, Kristina McGinnis, Cody Gibbs, Lyric Salter, Lexi Salter, Laya Salter, Lynk Salter, Great Grandchildren: Riley Gibbs & Colton Gibbs, Siblings: Starlene McKenzie & Arthur Ray Osborne (Terry)
Joann was dedicated to her family and her faith. Joann enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She loved to hold a baby. She hosted a Christmas Eve party every year. She owned and operated a cleaning business for 20 years. She enjoyed raising Yorkies. She honored her mother and father all through her life. She passed peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She will be missed by her loving family.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00. Funeral service on Saturday at 10:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Kay Green officiating. Burial to follow at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
The family would like to invite friends and family to a pot luck after the services to 3953 Casa Blvd. Grove City, OH. Please bring your favorite dish.
