Joann M Tschida (McGillivray) 71, Green Bay passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by her family. Joann was born on November 18, 1954, Green Bay the daughter of Malcolm and Dolores (Phillips) McGillivray. She truly loved spending time with her 4 grandchildren whether it be in person or by video chat and adored her great-grandchildren. Joann enjoyed spending time with her family and always loved when they came to visit. She was a loving Mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Mesach McGillivray and his special friend: Yesenia Hernandez, Maliq McGillivray, Mateos McGillivray and Atielia McGillivray, her great-grandchildren: Aylove´, Anaucion, Angel and Anais, her siblings Mike McGillivray, Patti Denil, Jerry McGillivray, Brenda McGillivray and her special friend: Tom Medford, Barbara McGillivray, Donnie McGillivray, Shelly (John) Meir and Corey McGillivray. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughters: Ayme, Pamela Jo and Carrie Ann, her parents, her siblings: Arlene McGillivray, Jim McGillivray, Dale McGillivray and Jennie Nell, 2 brothers-in-law: Elton Denil, Arnie Penass

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Restoration Church 731 Morris Avenue. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Teresa Zellner officiating. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Unity Hospice for all of the care and compassion shown to Joann. Also, a warm note of appreciation to Pastor Zellner and her church family for all of their support and prayers. Finally, a kind and loving acknowledgement to her grandson Mateos for taking care of her and being there for her on her journey.
