Joanne Bennett, 77, the loving wife of Bruce Bennett, passed away on October 19th, 2025 at Regional Hospice of Danbury, Connecticut. She was born October 12th, 1948 in White Plains, NY. Joanne was the daughter of the late Frank and Carmella Ranallo (Curcione).
Joanne was involved in the beauty industry, being a hairdresser and cosmetologist for many years. She then transitioned into working alongside her husband, at Bruce Bennett Nissan, as an administrative assistant, where she adored talking with the customers and answering the phones.
Joanne's true passion was the love for her family. She was the best cook and everyone loved her meatballs. She loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events, plays and musicals. You always knew Joanne was there. Her presence was uplifting and happy, her laugh was contagious. She especially loved traveling and the casino with Bruce. She loved listening to her son's Todd band and going on shopping sprees with Amie.
Alongside her husband Bruce of 55 years, she is survived by her son, Todd H. Bennett, along with her daughter Amie Marie Bennett; her daughter-in-law Alexis Bennett; her four grandchildren, Jackson, Braylon, Alexandra, and Brody; additionally, Joanne was predeceased by her sister, Emily Westmark.
A visitation will be held for Joanne on October 22nd at 4-7 PM at Cornell Memorial Home at 247 White Street Danbury, Connecticut.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church at 376 Main Street in Danbury. An entombment in the St. Peter Mausoleum to follow immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph School of Danbury, or Regional Hospice of Danbury.
