JoAnn Breyfogle

JoAnn Breyfogle, age 74, of Alta, Iowa died Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Sioux City, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

JoAnn Marie Breyfogle was born March 7, 1952 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Delbert and JoAnne Breyfogle.

Growing up, she was baptized and confirmed.

She attended school in Rembrandt where she graduated from Rembrandt high School.

JoAnn was blessed with one son, Jeremy Joe Breyfogle.

JoAnn enjoyed baking, reading and car rides along the lake. She loved attending Summit Church in Alta. Family was very important to her, and she treasured spending time with her significant other, Jesus Contreras.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jeremy Breyfogle of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; grandson, Nicholas Waddell of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; significant other, Jesus Contreras of Alta, Iowa; extended family and many friends.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ernie Breyfogle and sister, Paulete Breyfogle.
