Joanne R. Burrows

Joanne R. Burrows, 80, of Bayville, NJ passed away on March 8, 2026. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she moved to Bayville in 1975 where she lived the rest of her life.

Mrs.Burrows was a cafeteria worker at several area schools including, Ocean Gate Elementary, Clara B Worth Elementary in Bayville and served many years at Monsignor Donovan(now Donovan Catholic) High School in Toms River. Joanne was completely devoted to her family. Spending time with them on holidays, especially Christmas, brought great joy to her life. She was a devoted parishioner and very active at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville and was a member of their Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Berkeley Ladies Social Club, enjoying her time with friends.

She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 33 years Allan in 2008 and by her brother Anthony Amendolia. Surviving are her two children Kimm Burrows and Andrew Burrows with his wife Jennifer, her brother Frank Amendolia, her sister-in-law Dottie Fogel with her husband Don, her nieces Diane Fogel with her wife Jaimee, Denise Brooks with her husband Tom, her nephew Dennis Amendolia with his wife Katie. She is also survived by her two grand nephews, Evan and Dominic as well as her extended Amendolia family and her lifelong family friends The Dobrzelecki's and The Konopka's

Viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4:00-7:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd.., Bayville, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, followed by a Burial at Bayville Cemetery, 526 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ.
