Our beloved, Joanne "Jo" Enwright, 70, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on January 11, 2025 after decades of battling MS with a joyful heart and warm smile. Although her body was overcome, her spirit could not be shaken.
Joanne was born on June 10, 1954 to Rose Marie and Ernie Perkins in Syracuse, NY. She attained an associates degree from Morrisville State in the field of Horticulture. Her green thumb helped her to share her love of Gods' beautiful creation. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, wife, and friend. She found resilience and strength in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Joanne is survived by her mother, Rose Marie Perkins, three sisters, Patti Bellonte, Donna Snyder, and Debbie Greiner, her two children, Jamie and Ben Enwright, Ben's wife Lindsy, her former spouse, Patrick Enwright, step-son Matt Enwright, his partner Megan and their son Finn, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We rejoice as she joins her Heavenly Father, along with her earthly father Ernest Perkins, sister Maureen Murphy, aunt Nora Faust, and many other loved ones who have passed before her.
We remember her in every wildflower, tree, ladybug, and butterfly. We remember her deep love, her beautiful smile and sense of humor, and her inspirational attitude despite extreme hardship.
Services are TBD and will take place in the spring. Please contact family for more information.
