Joanne Warwick Obituary
Born in Ayer on December 1, 1951, Joanne was the daughter to the late Alfred and Helen (Horgan) Poitras.
A home health aide for many years, Joanne was dedicated to her work and felt both honored, and deeply close to those who she cared for in their final days. Her greatest achievement in her life was raising her four children with her husband of 51 years, Edward. Joanne and her family shared a love for traveling to York Beach and other parts of New England. She will be deeply missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was predeceased by her brothers, Daniel J. Poitras and Edward A. Poitras.
Joanne is lovingly survived by her husband of 51 years, Edward J. Warwick, Jr.; her children, Ted Warwick and his wife Deb of Florida, Tina Warwick of Shirley, Nick Warwick and his wife Stacey of Lancaster, and Samantha Warwick of Fitchburg; her brothers, Steve Poitras, and Valerie of Hollis, NH, and Bill Poitras and his wife Janet of Shirley; her grandchildren, Lilly, Alexander, Helen, Mars, Sariah, Jason, Abraham, Shawni, Destiny, Aliza, Emma, Autumn and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren, Alex and Quinn; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 12:00 P.M in St Anthony of Padua Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley. Visiting Hours will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M in Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, Ayer, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanne's memory to the Nashoba Nursing Service & Hospice at https://www.nashoba.org/donate.
