Joaquin Orlando Cambara Palaut

Joaquin Cambara, 86, of Boston, MA, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025. He was born on August 16, 1939, in Maffo, Cuba. He was the beloved son of the late Jesús Cambara and Carmen Palaut, and the recently departed brother of José "Pepe" Cambara, along with thirteen other siblings who preceded him in death.
Joaquin was a man defined by his deep love for his family. His greatest joy. He will be fondly remembered for his generous heart, his kindness toward others, and his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need - even if it meant giving the shirt off his back.
A true Cuban-Bostonian at heart, Joaquin had a passion for the Boston Red Sox and a love for playing dominoes, which brought him joy and connection throughout his life.
He is survived by, Daisy Pérez Juri. He is also survived by his siblings Evaristo, Jesús, and Blanca; his devoted children Joaquin, Carmen, Belkys, Octavio, José, Osberto, and Osmani; his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Joaquin's legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in all who knew and loved him. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday, November 11 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. 14 Montebello Rd. Jamaica Plain on Wednesday November 12 at 10 am. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery.

Joaquín Cambara, de 86 años y residente de Boston, Massachusetts, falleció en paz el 4 de noviembre de 2025. Nació el 16 de agosto de 1939 en Maffo, Cuba. Fue el amado hijo de los difuntos Jesús Cambara y Carmen Palaut, y hermano de José "Pepe" Cambara, quien falleció recientemente, además de otros trece hermanos que lo precedieron en la muerte.
Joaquín fue un hombre que se caracterizó por su profundo amor a su familia, su mayor alegría. Será recordado con cariño por su generosidad, su bondad y su inquebrantable disposición para ayudar a quien lo necesitara, incluso si eso significaba darlo todo.
Un verdadero cubano-bostoniano de corazón, Joaquín era un apasionado seguidor de los Boston Red Sox y le encantaba jugar dominó, actividades que le brindaron alegría y conexión a lo largo de su vida.
Le sobreviven, Daisy Pérez Juri, y sus hermanos Evaristo, Jesús y Blanca. Sus amados hijos Joaquín, Carmen, Belkys, Octavio, José, Osberto y Osmani; sus queridos nietos y bisnietos; así como muchos amigos y demás familiares que lo extrañarán profundamente.
El legado de amor, fortaleza y compasión de Joaquín perdurará en todos los que lo conocieron y amaron. El velatorio tendrá lugar en la Funeraria Brady & Fallon, ubicada en 10 Tower St. (frente a la estación Forest Hills del MBTA), Jamaica Plain, el Martes 11 de Noviembre de 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Se invita cordialmente a familiares y amigos asistir. La misa de funeral se celebrará en la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, ubicada en 14 Montebello Rd., Jamaica Plain, el Miércoles 12 de Noviembre a las 10:00 a. m.
