Jodee R Rounds

Our mother passed away at the age of 46. Her life was one marked by both love and deep struggle, a journey that was not always easy for her or for those who loved her. She faced many challenges throughout her life, battles that shaped her path and tested her strength in ways few could fully understand.

Despite her struggles, she brought four children into this world - Destiny Gosnell (James), Nicole Rounds, Kaylynn Ellcessor (Jimmy) , and David Rounds III- each of whom carries a part of her story within them. She is also survived by her sister, Julie Byrd, and her life partner, Brian Thompson, who shared in her life and walked beside her through some of its most difficult moments.

Her struggles do not define her entirely, but they are an honest part of her story. She lived through pain, hardship, and moments of loss, yet her life still holds meaning through the lives she touched and the lessons left behind. In remembering her, we acknowledge both the brokenness and the humanity of a woman who faced more than many ever see.

May she now be free from the battles she carried for so long. May she find peace, rest, and healing, and may those she leaves behind find comfort in time, understanding, and compassion.
