Jodie Dean (Miller) Boggs, 92 went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Bethesda Health Care Facility.

Funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM Friday, January 16, 2026 at Freedom Baptist Church (2115 Middle Road, Eastover), officiating will be Pastor Paul Worley.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM Friday at the church prior to the service.

She will be buried at a later date at South Whitley Cemetery in South Whitley, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Galen and Florence Miller; first husband, Glen Kreider; second husband, John Robert Boggs; her children, Nancy and Michael Kreider; brothers, Dale and Gaylerd Miller; sisters, Carol Miller, June Fiscel, and Betty Beni; and her sister-in-law, Marlene Miller.

Jodie was a longtime member of Freedom Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Gerry Compton (Elmer) of Silver Lake, IN, and Ronda Gaston (Steven) of Stedman; grandchildren, Shelly Contreras, Anthony “Tony” Compton (Betsy), Brice Gaston, Christopher Kreider (Cassandra) and Stacy Webster (John); great grandchildren, Maya Contreras, Logan Webster, Wade Webster, and AJ Gaston-Porter; sister, Patsy B. Boyd of Oregon; sister-in-law, Grace Miller of Waseon, OH.
