Jody R. Perry, age 68, of Sikeston, MO, died Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.
Born August 9, 1957, at Kankakee, IL, to the late Rolland Carrold Self and Carletta Rose Halstead Self, Jody had lived in Southern Illinois most of her life and held a master's degree in health care administration. She worked most of her life in health care until ill health forced her retirement. She had lived in Sikeston the last several years.
In 1996, she married Dennis Wayne Perry, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are her children, Amanda Graves-Hammond of DuQuoin, IL; Crystal (Bill) Marshina of Marlton, NJ and Cheryl (Joe) Postorino of Clarksville, TN; Christopher Perry and Amber Perry both of Cape Girardeau, MO and Daniel Perry of Hillerman, IL; grandchildren, Andrea (Justin) DallaCosta, Brittney (Trent) Bailey, Jennifer Darter, Jacob Watson, Andrew Marshina, Giada Marshina, Gabby Marshina, Michael Harper, Nicholas (Kelsea) Harvel, Benjamin (Amya) Harvel, Oliver Perry, Logan Perry and Mason Perry; great grandchildren, Connor, Lillian, Taylor and Myles.
Jody is also survived by her siblings, Pamela (Jerry) Britton, Robin King, Jason Self, Tracy Horner, Velora Zettler, Kevin (Robin) Leehy and Judy (Bob) Otteson, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ginger Clark.
Services will be held at a later date.
