Joe Grippando passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 77. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joe spent over 35 years as an executive in the printing industry, where he was admired for his leadership, dedication, and professionalism. Outside of work, he found great joy in spending time with friends and family-especially on the golf course, at classic car shows, and relaxing at the beach. He cherished every moment with his four grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie, his grade school sweetheart; his daughters, Sheri (Scott Veal) and Debbie (Steven Hogan); his cherished grandchildren, Emmaline, Isabella, Evan, and Haley; his sister, Marlene (White); and his nephew, Joe.

Joe's warmth, humor, and unconditional love left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His legacy of kindness and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31st, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 East Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL. Please join us for a remembrance service at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to the American Heart Association.
