Joe A. Frost

Pembroke- Joe Alfred Frost, age 68, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Frost was born in Crestview, Florida and lived most of his life in Pembroke.  Joe loved to sing, draw, play jokes and share his collections. He brought a smile and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Mr. Joe was a long-time member of Grace Independent Methodist Church where he loved to attend and often sang for the congregation. He was the acolyte for the church for over 20 years and was a faithful member of the adult Sunday School class. In 2019, Mr. Frost was voted Methodist Man of the Year for his church. He had a deep love for the Lord. In addition to his love of his church, he enjoyed watching movies, visiting the Pembroke Library, going to local flea markets, activities at the Pembroke Senior Center and his involvement with Gateway Behavioral Health Services. Mr. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, May Frances Frost Brooks.

Survivors include his sister, Wanda Ann Arreguin of Macon; uncle, Arnold Frost of Apple Valley, CA; and numerous cousins including Kevin Frost of Orange County, CA and Dana Brady of Imboden, AR.

Visitation will be held noon - 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
