Joe Anderson

Joe Anderson, 74, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY. Joe was proudly retired from the United States Army, and he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After retirement from the Army Joe became a realtor. He and his wife, Kathie, owned Coldwell Banker Success Realty for over twenty years. Joe was an avid golfer and fisherman who loved being outdoors. He also enjoyed a good game of Texas Holdem. Traveling was another one of his passions as he explored the country in his RV, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. He always said the most important things in life were faith, family, and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Kathie Anderson; two sons, Joe Anderson (Amy), Chris Anderson (Carolyn); four grandchildren, Ashley Pritchard (Dan), Seth Anderson, Avery Anderson, Ethan Anderson; two great grandchildren, Ozzie Mae Pritchard, Rosie Belle Pritchard; one sister, Sandy Kongslien; and a host of extended family and friends

A graveside service with military honors will be at 12:30 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. If you would like to follow the funeral procession to the cemetery, please meet no later than 11:45 AM at Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove. After the graveside service, a meal will be provided at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Vine Grove.
