Joe is survived by his wife, Willie Pearl Chatman Davis; children, Rhonda Davis, Joe H. Davis, Jr. (Annette), Natalie Davis-Draper (Navon), Brian Davis (Lakisha), Leah Davis, Kerri Davis; 14 grandchildren, Rasia Eleni, Reginald Gross, Jr., Jordan Davis, Aisya Davis, Tyler Davis, Christian Davis, Rian Bone, Dominic Burnam, Brandon Davis, Morgan Lee, LeBria Casher, Kendrick Casher, Nyah Casher, Dakarai Davis; 6 great-grandchildren, Gabriel Reeves, Kristopher Reeves, Jeremiah Reeves, Arynn Reeves, Micah Davis, Ari Lee; sister, Celestine Valrie; brother, Wardell Davis.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Davis, Jr.; mother, Florence Yelding Davis; wife, Elainer Davis; 9 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.
