Ty Reagan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hightower's Memorial Chapel - Douglasville on Feb. 3, 2026.
Lawrence Tyler "Ty" Reagan, age 57, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. He was born on May 19, 1968, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Joe and Wanda Reagan. Ty worked for many years at McMaster-Carr and was a faithful member of West Ridge Church in Dallas, Georgia.

Ty is survived by his wife, Dana Henley Reagan; his daughters, Abbey Clifton (Brett), Maggie Adair (Dakota), and Alana Childs (Jaylen); his grandchildren, Kynli Clifton, Kalli Clifton, Elijah Adair, Lucy Adair, Baby Girl Adair, Leilani Reagan, and Wesson Lawrence Childs; his parents, Joe and Wanda Reagan; and his brother, Jeff Reagan (Traci).

Ty was never too busy to stop, served without needing applause, and loved without holding back. When you were with him, you felt seen, heard, and genuinely valued. His presence carried a steady warmth that settled a room.

His love for his family was marked by fierce devotion. He treasured his wife, loved his daughters deeply, and embraced the joy of being "Bobba" to his grandchildren. Whether he was casting a line into the water, sitting on a porch, sharing one of his stories, or lingering in an unhurried conversation, Ty had a way of being fully present in the moment. He had a tender eye for those overlooked and often stepped into quiet acts of mercy that few ever saw and even fewer heard about.

At the center of Ty's life was his faith in Jesus. It wasn't loud, but it was unmistakable. It showed up in his patience, his humility, his gentleness, and the steady grace with which he treated others. In Ty, you could see what the gospel does to a man fully surrendered to Christ.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at West Ridge Church.

You may share your thoughts and condolences online at www.hightowersmemorial.com. Hightower's Memorial Chapel of Douglasville has charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, Dana and the family invite you to honor Ty by supporting the Gospel work happening through Heirloom Church in Kyle, Texas.

My sincere condolences to the Reagan family. As a co-worker with both Ty and Jeff, I can testify about Ty's great character. Kind, warm, patient, very calm and always willing to lend a hand. I believe that he was truly a man of faith because of the consistent character he displayed daily. He will always be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, my Brother in Christ.

My deepest condolences to Dana, the girls, and the entire family. Ty was such a God loving neighbor and shared it in his Godly neighborly way while I lived in Georgia (1998-2010). I knew that I could always bring my prayer requests to Ty and Dana and would be comforted by their loving concern. I am so sad to hear of his leaving this world, but rejoice that he is with his savior.

Sweet Dana and girls: We were absolutely heartbroken to learn of Ty's passing and our hearts are heavy for you, and your extended families as you grieve this tremendous loss. I [Destiny] remember always being so impressed with the way Ty loved, and showed up for, the four of you. He was such a loving and godly husband and an incredibly proud daddy! I also remember that he was so kind and welcoming to me the first time I attended a Wisdom's Way "MNO," decades ago, at your beautiful home, that I initially thought that we must have met previously and I had forgotten, but ...no! He was simply the perfect host and representation of what I consider sweet Southern hospitality served with a side of Jesus as evidenced by his genuine faith and authentic grace! I may have entered your home as a guest, that night, but I left feeling like a friend. Please know that Jon and I will keep you all close by way of our constant thoughts and prayers as you navigate a new normal that is anything but normal. May each one of you experience the Lord's overflowing presence, lovingkindness, comfort and peace until you are reunited. You are loved... Jon & Destiny Doremus, Temple, Georgia
