Joe was born on April 23, 1950 to Alfred and Marilyn (Larsen) Fullford in Spencer, Iowa. He spent his childhood and teen years in California. Joe married and moved to Colorado where his family lived for several years before moving to Florida.
In Colorado, Joe spent many days backpacking and fishing the mountains around Colorado Springs. He was also an avid arrowhead and artifact collector, taking courses at the local college on archaeological surveying. He spent many hours at the local museum identifying much of their arrowhead collections.
Professionally, Joe devoted 45 years to his craft as a drywall finisher. His skilled hands left a lasting mark on countless homes throughout the Brooksville area.
Joe will always be remembered by his wonderful bear hugs and his infectious laughs and smiles. But most of all, Joe will be known for his beautiful testimony of coming to know the Lord, a story he loved to tell.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Mansfield) Fullford; son, Troy Fullford (April) Sarasota, FL; step-son, Jerome Mansfield (Jennifer) Lafayette, IN; step-daughter, Jill Mansfield (Robert Busch) Mead, WA; step-son, Jake Mansfield (Yeceny) Brooksville, FL; 4 grandchildren: Ian Fullford (C.J.) Raleigh, NC; Dr. Jack Fullford, Garner, NC; Lauren Knight (Sean) Palmetto, FL and Jacob Mansfield, Brooksville, FL; 2 great-grandchildren, Kylar and Emilia Fullford, Raleigh, NC.
In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Calvary Chapel Hernando County Building Fund.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 4th at 1:00 at Calvary Chapel Hernando, 5155 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL
