Joe (Joey) Raymond Gonzales, Jr., 41, passed away at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas on Monday, January 2, 2023. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 15, 1981. Joey is survived by his children, Christopher Jacob, Logan Michael and Joseph Nicholas; his parents Joe R. and Blanca I. Gonzales, his brother Charles (Sara) Gonzales, his sister Laura (Jesse) Mercado, and JoAnna Gonzales. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and a nephew. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Joey enjoyed art in his spare time, bowling with his sons and traveling with family. He also had a passion for cooking, whether for one or for many. He was a generous man with a heart for hard work and a witty sense of humor. Joey continues to be deeply loved, will be greatly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
