Joe was married to Joyce Chancellor for 25 years, and to this union two children were born: Courtney La Shaun and Joe Dean II. Joe lived a simple life in Honey Grove, with his common law wife Debbie Matthews for 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Wanda Houston, daughter Courtney Brown, sister Sandra Denise and brother-in-law Keith Hacsi.
Joe Survivors are his family. Common law wife: Debbie Matthews; son, Joe (Carla) Houston II; 4 grandkids: Mia Brown, Cambria Hall, Rubie and Corban Matthews. 1 great grandkid: Kyrie Matthews. 1 God daughter: Brittney Scott. Bonus family: Jarrett Matthews, Felisia Matthews, and Ray Cerasoli. 4 brothers: Donald, Calvin, Keith and Jerry (Patricia) Houston. 2 sisters: Carla and Melba Houston. 1 Aunt: Opal Houston. 1Uncle: Lewis and (Barbara) Thomas. 1 Sister-in-law: Cindy Thorn. Special friend: Margaret LeShaw., and host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
