A Time to be Born...
Joe Anna Jackson was born on April 4, 1931. She was the First born child of 12 children from the union of the late Joe Thomas Sr. and Earther Hardaway Thomas in Gonzales, TX. The Thomas Family would soon move to Seguin TX by 1936.

A Time of Reborn...
Joe Anna accepted Christ at an early age where she was baptized in the Guadalupe River under the leadership of Rev. Harrison Smith at St. James Baptist Church in Seguin, TX.

A Time of Education and Labor...
She attended Lizzie M. Burges and Ball High School in Seguin, TX. She then entered the workforce by doing domestic work for local families eventually becoming a CareTaker for many years after.

A Time for Family...
She would marry the late Charles Jackson Sr. and from their union have 3 children: Daughters: Margie Nell Lee and Beverly Jackson and Son: Charles Jackson Jr.

A Time of Restoration...
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in Schertz, TX., God called her home to His Holy Embrace.

She is preceded by: Parents: Joe and Earther Thomas, Daughters: Margie Nell Lee and Beverly Jackson and Son and Charles Jackson Jr. Sisters: Anninas "Bunch" Carter & Earther "Lucy" Anderson. Brothers: Albert "Man boy" Thomas, Joe "JT" Thomas and Bennie "Geroma" Thomas. Her Long Time Companion...A.C. Nichols.

A Time to Rejoice...
To cherish her Loving Memory from this Day forward:

5 Grandchildren and their Children who affectionately gave her the nickname "Gan Gan":

Granddaughter: Towanda Jackson and her children Montinique Hodges, Kevin Brown & Davia Davis.
Granddaughter: Lakresa Jackson and her daughter Jasmine Taylor.
Grandson: Cedric Lee Carter and his son Wyatt Jones Carter.
Granddaughter: Dietra Lee.
Grandsons: Troy & Andre Jackson.

Her Sister Siblings: Ethel Walker & Rosa Johns of Lubbock TX, Betty Thomas and Sarah Henderson of San Antonio, TX, Mary Taylor of Lincoln TX and Matilda Sexton of Seguin, TX.

Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Extended Family who will always have her in their Hearts.
