Edwin "Joe" Kolbiaz, age 73, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at McLaren Regional Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Linwood, Michigan, to the late Frank and Celina (Bruzewski) Kolbiaz on June 3, 1949. Joe married the former Nancy L. Jackett on April 25, 1970 at St. Anne's Church Linwood, Michigan. She survives him. He was retired from Bay City Powertrain after 40 years of service, a member of the UAW. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, motorcycles and watching baseball. Joe loved spending time with his children.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of 53 years and their children; John Kolbiaz and his son Jake, Brad Kolbiaz and his children, Ragan and Luke, and Tom (Jen) Kolbiaz, their children, Gabe, Dylan, and Charlie. He was predeceased by his siblings, Paul Kolbiaz, Sister Pat, Richard Kolbiaz, Rita Periard, and LouAnn Selle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
