Joe Lopez

Jose (Joe) Lopez passed peacefully on March 2, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus P. and Maria M. Lopez, and his brothers Matias and Jesus Lopez Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jennifer Lopez; his children, Jose (Jojo) Lopez Jr., Marina Toller (husband James), and Jessica Willis (husband Taylor); and his grandchildren, Isaac Lopez, Stetson Toller, Sunday Toller, and Coast Toller. He is also survived by his sisters, Delma Rodriguez, Juanita Cabral (husband Ruben), Sandra Rodriguez; and his brother, Richard Lopez (wife Gloria), along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Joe was born on September 21, 1959 in Robstown, Texas. He spent much of his life in Oxnard, California, before moving his family to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004. He loved his music, movies and cars but most of all he loved spending time with family. Joe especially enjoyed taking trips to California, Florida, Texas, and Colorado, and making memories with the little ones who called him Papa.

A quiet and laid-back man with few words, a big smile, and a comforting heart, Joe may not have liked being the center of attention, but he deserves to have his many years of fatherly love honored. He left a lasting impact on those who were fortunate enough to call him Dad, Papa, Tio, Brother and Friend.

We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives through all lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
