in Beaufort with his wife by his side.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Cross Community Church on Friday, March 27,
2026 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
Graveside Services will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 31, 2026,
at 11:00 am. Friends attending the Graveside Service are encouraged to arrive at the cemetery
by 10:45 am.
Joe was born on February 5, 1947, in Mechanicsburg, PA, the son of the late Joe, Sr. and Arlene
Ruth (Fogleman) McCollam. He later married Rebecca Lynn (Boyer) McCollam on December 23,
1978 in York, PA.
Survivors include: his wife Rebecca "Becky" McCollam; sister: Judy Ann Peffer; children: son;
Jeffrey Alan Getty, daughter-in-law; Kimberly Ann Getty; grandchildren: Brittany Nichole Getty,
Brandon Cole Getty; great grandson: Christopher Cole Getty
