Mr. Joe Denton Pardue went to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Joe was a faithful member, deacon, and Sunday School teacher at Bellfounte Baptist Church.
Joe graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College and Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. He was the former owner of Pardue & Associates and retired VP of graphic designs at Life care Centers of America.
Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Margaret Roberta Davis Pardue, his parents Carl and Ruby Pardue, his mother and father-in-law Robert and Vesta Davis, sisters-in-law, Juanita Davis (Rutherford), Trula Patterson (Ray), brothers-in-law Harold Davis, Boyd Davis, and Ralph Davis, nieces and nephews Wanda Davis, Ronnie and Trish Davis, David Davis, Jane Phemister, and Chris Bailey.
He is survived by daughter Leak York (Andy) of Knoxville, son Joe Pardue Jr (Shannon) of Cleveland, and two grandchildren whom he adored Alexis Anderson (Taylor) of Murfreesboro, and Jared Pardue of Cleveland.
He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jackie and Helen Pardue of Palm Springs, Florida, niece Jacqueline (Jose) Cabanillas of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, nephew Carl Pardue of Winter Park, Florida, sister-in-law Betty Torbett, Ruth and Sherman Patterson, Glen and Linda Davis, Jimmy and Bobbie Davis, Tommy and Gayle Davis, Gene Davis, Barbara Davis, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Bellfounte Baptist Church, the service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Lake Walker officiating. Interment will be Friday, December 19th, 2025, at 11 AM at McMinnville Memory Gardens.
