Joe Rose

Joe Bev Rose passed away in Waxahachie, Texas, on Thursday, September 18th, 2025. Joe was born on April 1, 1938 in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, to Thomas and Willow Maye Rose. He and his wife Pat (Deceased) lived most of their lives in Talihina, Oklahoma, raising their daughter Kimberly. Joe and Pat spent many summer days/nights fishing for catfish at area lakes. Joe liked nothing more than to catch a mess of catfish and cook it for supper. He was known for his large garden where he spent many hours raising tomatoes, okra, cucumbers, watermelons, and corn. Many in Talihina enjoyed the bounties of Joe's garden. Joe worked over 30 years at the veteran's center providing friendship and janitor services to the staff and patients there. Joe is survived by his Daughter Kimberly Davis and her husband Terry; Grand Daughter Courtney Coker and her husband Justin, along with his great granddaughter Hannah; and his many nieces and nephews. Joe is together again in heaven with his wife Pat, his first daughter Lecretia, his mother and father, and his many brothers and sisters. Joe will be laid to rest at Laura McGee Cemetery, on Friday September 26, 2025 at 11:00AM with Bro. Danny Harris officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
