It is with a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Jessie Hotella on September 12, 2025. He was surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family in his home in Albion, Oklahoma, during his end of life journey. Jessie, 82 years young, was born in Ludlow Oklahoma on November 16, 1942, to Jessie (Jack) and Josephine Simpson Hotella, (deceased). He was preceded in death by his siblings; Eva, Leon, and Vinas Hotella and survived by a younger brother Bill Bettis of Blanchard, Oklahoma. Jessie is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Gail of the home of 63 years; his five children, Roy Mitchell and wife Donna of Harrah, Oklahoma, Lisa and husband Dennis Austin of Albion, Oklahoma, Jessie Lee and wife Darla of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Charlotte and husband Mike Allen of Wasilla, Alaska, Bryan Tanner and wife Amanda of Choctaw, Oklahoma. He will be forever cherished by his seven grandsons, four granddaughters, ten great grandsons, ten great granddaughters and one great great grandson. By trade Jessie was a brick mason. He was a perfectionist at everything he did and very passionate about his trade. His skill level as a master journeyman was second to none. He left his legacy in many places by his craftsmanship, He was a member of the Bricklayer & Allied Craftworkers Local 5 Union of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for 59 years. Jessie was dedicated to his family and loved being with them. He built a strong foundation through his unconditional love and support for his family. He enjoyed the outdoors by going hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and playing horseshoes. If you ever had the opportunity to play a game of horseshoes with him, you were introduced by his unique skill of playing and most of the time lost. Jessie was a member of the Valley Christian Church in Talihina, Oklahoma. His love for the Lord, his family, friends, and community lead him to be a Deacon in the church for many years. His unwavering love for Christ was noticeable with how he lived his life by his actions and his treatment of others. Those who have known him were impacted by his genuine smile that left your heart filled with love. Pallbearers are John McDowell, Chris Hotella, Jonathan Austin, Keipher Hotella, Camryn Hotella, Waylon Hotella, Grant Hotella Honorary Pallbearers are Zach Allen, Chance Hunter, Preston Hotella, Jessie Hotella. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma. Services will be on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 10:00AM at Valley Christian Church in Talihina with Bro. Artie Carnes officiating. Interment will follow at Albion Cemetery in Albion. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
