With heavy hearts, we share that Christopher Lee Rainwater went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2025. Chris was born on July 27, 1986, to Bernie and Donna Rainwater. A graduate of Talihina High School, Chris discovered his talents early on in carpentry and automotive classes. His natural gift for building and repairing anything became a lifelong passion, and he poured his heart into every skill he learned. Chris met his sweetheart, Aslynn Camp, in ninth grade. Though they didn't begin dating until later, their bond grew into a deep love, and the two were married on May 9, 2005. Together, they shared three sons. In 2014, Chris dedicated his life to the Lord at My Brother's Keeper at Word of God Church in Oklahoma City, a decision that forever changed his family's lives. In 2016 he and Aslynn were remarried, strengthening their family once more. That same year, they welcomed a daughter. Throughout his career, Chris worked with Neighbors Drilling, Alspludh, various mechanic shops, and as a painter, always putting his many talents to good use. He also spent over a decade off and on working for Eugene and CJ Norvell as a farm hand, where he received an abundance of love, lessons, and grace that will never be forgotten. However, his most cherished role was as a driller for B&H Construction, where he found not only a great career but also a supportive work family who played a significant role in his healing, success, and pride. We can't thank B&H enough for the life and legacy they helped create. Chris will always be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and hardworking man. His family will forever be grateful for the grace, love, and encouragement he received throughout his life. Chris is survived by his wife, Aslynn; his sons, Brock and wife Hanna, Bryce, and Brendin; his daughter, Mercy; his mother and stepfather, Donna and Garland Nelson; his sister, Terri and husband Robert Morrow, and brother, Jason James; and his first granddaughter, Oakley, along with his bonus granddaughter, Checotah. He is also survived by his grandmother Judy Watson, aunt Sheri Rainwater, uncles Roy, Luke, Earl, Byrnel and William Rainwater, cousins Shannon and Shawn Smith, Corie Jones, and Eric Rainwater, as well as many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply. Chris was preceded in death by his great grandfather Noah Earl Rainwater, his grandfather Byrnel Rainwater, Sr, his father, Bernie Lee Rainwater; step father Johnny Martin James; his cousin, Brent Shawn Rainwater; his uncle, Nathanial Rainwater, nephew Paul Lester Emde, II and his grandfather and grandmother Arlen and Linda Speers. Chris's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. First Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday September 13, 2025 at Word of Life Church in Dibble, Oklahoma under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Service. Visitation will be on Saturday September 13th, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina. Services will be on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Talihina School Auditorium with Mark James officiating. Interment will follow at Whitesboro Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
