Joe Sanchez Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 11, 2025.
FORT WORTH - Joe Andrew "Andy" Sanchez was called home to rest in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after fighting a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the age of 64.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Born April 7, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Sylvester and Emily Sanchez, Joe embraced life with a passion that was infectious. A proud 1979 Nolan Catholic High School graduate, he was a talented musician who shared his love of music through his guitar and saxophone playing. Joe had a unique ability to make people laugh with his various impersonations.
A fan of classic rock, he took great pleasure in remembering the numerous concerts over the years he attended, seeing too many classic rock legends to list. Joe also had a deep appreciation for classic movies, with a special fondness for legends like John Wayne and James Dean. A devout Catholic, Joe routinely attended Mass and frequently recited the Rosary. He took great comfort in his faith.
Joe is survived by his parents: Sylvester and Emily Sanchez, brothers Richard (Patricia), Edward (Rosalinda), and Michael (Catherine); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe's memory will be cherished by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and humor.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
