Daniel Gamez Obituary
Dan was born August 16, 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1989, where he played baseball, and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law and was licensed to practice law in both Texas and California.
Dan lived for a few years in Houston before relocating to San Diego. Known for his lively personality and kindness, Dan made friends easily and was always willing to offer support and encouragement to others. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his children, Samuel (Sammy), Caroline, and Lizzie Gamez; their mother, Jennifer Gamez; his parents, Ralph and Eva Gamez; his sister, Melissa (Jim) Davis; niece Jenna Davis; and nephew Kyle Davis.
A memorial service celebrating Dan's life will be held Sunday, March 22, from 2–5 PM at Heritage HOA Clubhouse, 9536 Courtright Drive, Fort Worth.
Private interment will take place at a later date.
